HARP HAS EXPANDED THE RANGE OF MAINTENANCE-FREE BEARINGS AND UNITS FOR AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:center;"> <img src="/membcentre/editor/attached/image/20180420/20180420120054_94545.jpg" alt="" /> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP) has expanded the range of HARP AGRO bearings and units for agricultural machinery by launching the mass-production of over 80 modifications of spare parts with new types of multi-lip sealings X-SHIELD since 2018. New products are maintenance-free during the whole life span and designed specially for operation in conditions of heavy loads and dusty environments. &nbsp;<o:p></o:p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> <i>“One of the main conditions of the reliable work of the bearings is a right choice of the sealing design. They are intended for preventing penetration of the dust, moisture, impurities or acid vapors and other substances inside the bearing, which impact negatively on the efficiency</i>, – says <b>Sergey Semykin</b>, Chief Designer of the Ukrainian Bearing Industry Design and Technology Bureau.&nbsp;–&nbsp;<i>New systems of three-lip and six-lip sealings with increased tightness X-SHIELD-3 and X-SHIELD-6 in the combination with metallic protective washer provide 100% bearing tightness and protection from dust, dirt, water, abrasive pieces, as well as grease leakage”.</i>&nbsp;&nbsp;<o:p></o:p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> It is to be recalled the plant has been producing bearings with the tapered adapter sleeve (so-called “million” group) for agricultural machinery with one-lip sealings of increased tightness X-SHIELD since 2004. <i>“Taking into account the intensiveness of agriculture development and current extreme conditions of agricultural machinery operation, we continue to work on improving of the technologies and designs, and in the recent years we offered a number of the unique solutions for farmers and producers of the agricultural machinery”</i>, – adds Chief Designer. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<o:p></o:p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> Thus, in 2016-2017 HARP supplemented the range of the fastened bearings for agricultural machinery by the UC (analogs of YAR), ES (YET), EX (YEL) lines and housed units on their base. The next step became the adopting of the whole range of multi-lip sealings X-SHIELD, which provide increased operational life for bearings and units – in 2,5-4,5 times longer comparing to the standard design, as well as maximally high level of protection and reliability. &nbsp;<o:p></o:p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> The fully maintenance-free solutions don’t require the grease refilling during the whole operational life, minimize the farmers costs for implements maintaining. The ability to cope with overloads provides the stable work of the machinery even in harsh conditions with high level of dust content, strong mechanical impacts, high concentration of abrasive pieces. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<o:p></o:p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> <i>“The customers have an option to choose the bearing/bearing unit and sealings depending on the region and conditions of the operation</i>, – points out <b>Vitaliy Bugrov</b>, Director of the Bearings Sales Department. – <i>Today the farmers and producers of the agricultural machinery are offered the range of HARP AGRO bearings of the “million” group, bearings of the UC (analogs of YAR), ES (YET), EX (YEL) lines and housed bearing units, assembled with one of six design varieties of X-SHIELD sealings</i>”. <o:p></o:p> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> He clarifies that bearings with standard sealings, as well as with one-lip sealings X-SHIELD are also mass-produced, as they are demanded for many application areas.
